As a Berkley SMART Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out S.M.A.R.T repairs on vehicles. You must have the ability to competently carry out repairs to a high level of quality in set timescales.

Duties will include: refurbishing painted alloy wheels, refurbishing and renovating used cars ready for resale, attending to and repairing scratches, scuffs and dents, windscreen abrasions/chip repair, general interior refurbishment and other similar duties.

What do you need to succeed as a Bodyshop SMART Technician?

• Paint Spraying / Smart Repair experience.

• Strip / Build experience

• A full driving licence

About You

Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician is essential. Experience in a similar Bodyshop environment is beneficial as we are looking for an individual who has the ability to operate efficiently. We are looking for someone who is passionate to deliver the highest possible standard of repair with strong attention to detail.

Salary: Up to £32,000.00 per year

What do you need to succeed as a Vehicle Technician?

• Carry out Servicing, repairs and maintenance, including minor and major mechanical work and MOT's

• Complete major electrical and engine repair work

• Carry out road tests of customer vehicles after work has been carried out

• Experience of using advance diagnostic equipment to fault find items

• MOT tester ( not essential)

• Ability to complete a Vehicle Health Check and Citnow video presentations

• Able to interpret and complete any necessary paperwork

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Motor Vehicle Technician

Our technicians work Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm, one in four Saturdays 8.30am - 12.30pm and are rewarded with a competitive salary including excellent bonus and overtime opportunities.
